Former Forsyth-Monroe Chamber President/CEO arrested for theft
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the visa card was used for non- business-related purchases.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former Forsyth-Monroe Chamber President/CEO Rebecca Stone was arrested for theft on Wednesday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies obtained arrest warrants on October 23 for Stone regarding a theft involving a Monroe County Chamber of Commerce Endeavor Visa card.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the visa card was used for non- business-related purchases.
The investigation began on September 11 at the request of the Board of Directors of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Investigations.
Stone is charged with 8 counts of theft by taking and has turned herself into the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
