Deputies: Log truck driver killed in Monroe County crash

A log truck driver from Florida was killed Friday when his vehicle overturned on Highway 74, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A log truck driver from Florida was killed Friday when his vehicle overturned on Highway 74, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the scene near Davis Road at 9:30 a.m. The initial investigation revealed that the driver, 46-year-old David Kebreau of Davie, Florida, lost control of the truck after taking a turn too fast, causing it to overturn.

Kebreau was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
