MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb County Health Department is offering a car seat check-up event this Saturday, October 19.

The event will provide parents an opportunity to ensure their child’s car seat is safe and properly installed.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on-site to inspect car seats, making sure they are appropriate for the child’s age and size, and verifying proper installation. The event will happen from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Primary Pediatrics on Bowman Road.

Appointments are required. To reserve a spot, parents can call (478) 749-0144 to sign up.
