Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to host prescription drug take back event on October 26

The event will happen at Piedmont Macon North, located at 400 Charter Blvd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will host the “National Take Back Initiative 27” on Saturday, October 26, where Middle Georgia residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted or expired prescription medications.

The event will happen at Piedmont Macon North, located at 400 Charter Blvd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

All name labels must be removed from medication bottles before drop-off. Bottles with labels attached will not be accepted, and no syringes, needles, or liquid medications will be accepted.
