17-year-old arrested for armed robbery in Fort Valley, police searching for additional suspect
Deputies were dispatched on October 5 to the 100 block of Molette Street at approximately 12:44 a.m. about a person being shot.

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 17-year-old was arrested for armed robbery, according to a press release from the Fort Valley Police Department.
Deputies were dispatched on October 5 to the 100 block of Molette Street at approximately 12:44 a.m. about a person being shot.
Deputies found Isaiah Greer with a gunshot wound and he was transported to a hospital in Macon.
According to the press release, the Community Action Team (C.A.T) officers made contact with someone who was determined to be the victim of an armed robbery. The victim informed officers that he was robbed by 2 men.
C.A.T. officers determined and confirmed that 17-year-old Cameron Hicks and 20-year-old Isaiah Greer were portraying to be victims of aggravated assault when Hicks and Greer planned together to rob the victim.
Hicks and Greer took the victims phone to prevent the victim from calling for help, and when the victim shot towards Hicks and Greer protecting himself, the victim struck Greer with the gunshot.
After officers determined that Greer was also a suspect of the incident, officers attempted to make contact with Greer at the hospital. Deputies later learned that Greer refused medical treatment and left the hospital prior to law enforcement’s arrival.
C.A.T. officers obtained warrants on Hicks and Greer.
Cameron Hicks was arrested for armed robbery, possession of firearm during certain crimes, and theft by taking (stolen firearm).
Isaiah Greer is wanted for armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of firearm during certain crimes, and theft by receiving (stolen firearm).
