Northeast wins a nail-biter with Region opponent Bleckley County 33-30

The Northeast Raiders (5-1) defeated Region 2-A Division One opponent Bleckley County Royals (2-4) by a final score of 33-30 to remain perfect in region play

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – On Thursday night at Thompson Field, the Northeast Raiders beat the Bleckley County Royals 33-30 in Region 2-A Division One play.

Royals were up 23-12 at the half before Northeast outscored the Royals 21-7 in the second half for a comeback victory. Bleckley County missed a game-tying 42-yard field goal with a minute left in the game.

Northeast takes on Dublin next week. Bleckley County has a bye week before battling the Fighting Irish in two weeks.
