Nice weather returns for the weekend following Helene

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunshine and more seasonal temperatures are taking over the Peach State in the immediate wake of Helene.
This Evening
Partly cloudy skies will largely clear out heading into the overnight hours tonight. It will be a breezy night with the wind continuing from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Gusts could still reach as high as 30 mph through the night. No rain is expected and temperatures will drop into the lower 60s, near average for this time of year.
Tomorrow
Saturday will see partly sunny skies with temperatures peaking in the mid 80s in the afternoon. It will still be breezy as the wind continues from the southwest at 10-15 mph, gusting upwards of 25 mph through the day. An isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out.
It will be a mostly clear night with temperatures falling into the low to mid 60s. Wind will continue from the southwest at 5-10 mph.
Sunday
Sunday should be mostly sunny for Middle Georgia as highs climb into the mid 80s. Wind will flow from the southwest at 5-10 mph. An isolated shower cannot be ruled out.
