C. Jack Ellis Says Political Action Committee Is Next On His Agenda

He may not be the next mayor of Macon, but C. Jack Ellis won’t be leaving the political scene anytime soon.

In front of terminal station this afternoon, Ellis announced he’ll be creating a political action committee. He wants to help young politicians with grassroots campaigning, and make sure voters are well informed the next time they head out to the polls.

Ellis also says, he wants this group to set their sights on removing politicians who shouldn’t be in office.

“A person that comes to mind is Nikki Randall. She will be one of the first ones that we will target… There’s a Republican candidate, we’re looking at Mr. Peake, we have our eyes on him as well that hopefully we will be able to recruit someone to play in that race as well.”

Ellis also says don’t count him out. He’s considering running again in the next mayoral race. Until then, he’ll focus his efforts on training potential candidates for the next round of house races.
