MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We’re compiling a list of shelters available to those who need them as Helene makes its way toward the coast. As of Thursday afternoon, the National Hurricane Center expected the storm to maintain hurricane status through Middle Georgia overnight Thursday into Friday.
