Warming up but staying dry

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- Temperatures will continue their gradual climb for the rest of the week as rain holds off until the weekend.

TODAY.

High pressure has moved off to our northeast but that will still keep us sunny throughout the day with highs in the low and middle 70’s. A few high clouds will move in this evening. Seasonal temperatures in the middle 40’s are expected overnight.

TOMORROW.

With high pressure moving away we will see a little bit more moisture across the area. Rain is not expected. Temperatures will climb into the middle 70’s under a mostly sunny sky. Overnight lows will be much warmer in the middle 50’s.

FRIDAY & BEYOND.

More clouds are on the way by Friday and the weekend. Rain chances look to hold off until Saturday when a few light showers are possible. Rain chances go up on Sunday through the middle of next week. Temperatures will be on the climb into the upper 70’s as well.
