Bragg Jam: Music to Invade Macon

One of Middle Georgia’s most anticipated music events is set to take over Macon this weekend with nearly three dozen bands gearing up to take one of the nine stages in town. Festival Organizer, Jessica Walden, joined us tonight on the 6pm news to talk everything Bragg Jam.

The festival gets bigger and better every year and Walden says it’s because of a core group of volunteers who take the planning very seriously!

Saturday head to Bragg Jam’s ‘Arts at the Park’ event, this one’s for the entire family! The free event is moving to Cherry Street Plaza this year where you can browse arts and crafts, food choices, vendors and more.

Saturday beginning at 5pm, the Bragg Jam Concert Crawl kicks off all over Macon. The free trolley will take you to all the venues so you can enjoy the 36 bands!

Some of Saturday’s music includes: Gringo Grande, Abby Owens Band, Rabbi Larry Schlesinger and Friends, Shane Bridges Band, Nick Malloy Band, Floco Torres and SO many more!

Armbands are $20 and proceeds go to the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail and other local charities.

The event is inspired by late musicians and brothers Brax & Tate Bragg. For more details check out www.BraggJam.org
