Macon County Booming Business: Josie’s Restaurant

One of the traditions of the south is good ole soul food. And today in Middle Georgia Pride we’re traveling to get a bite to eat at Josie’s in Montezuma. 41 NBC’s Dustin Wilson shows us why the meat and vegetable restaurant is MaconCounty‘s Booming Business.

“Mac and Cheese and one of each,” said Jack Folks.

Folks loves Josie’s restaurant in downtown Montezuma. He’s been a regular since the restaurant opened in the 1970’s.

“I like fried catfish, it’s my favorite. But all of it’s good,” said Folks.

Josie’s is run by the three Williams sisters, who took over the business after their mother past away. Walking into the restaurant you automatically get a sense of southern hospitality.
