MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Republican Vice Presidential nominee Senator JD Vance will deliver remarks at the Edgar H. Wilson Convention Center at the Macon Centreplex on Thursday, September 26, according to a news release from the Trump campaign.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. ahead of the start of Vance’s remarks at 1 p.m. Vance is expected to speak about inflation and its impact on Georgians.

“Georgians are struggling to support their families,” the release states. “With inflation over 21%, Georgia families are spending an average of over $1000 more a month on basic goods like gas and groceries and have lost $28,502 on average due to Kamala’s economic policies.”

“Kamala Harris says inflation will be a “Day One” priority, but her ‘Day One’ was three and a half years ago,” it continued. “The Harris-Biden Administration created inflation, and Georgians know putting Kamala back in charge won’t do anything to fix it. ”

Register for tickets here. All tickets are subject to first come first serve basis, according to the campaign.

From Macon, Vance will head to Flowery Branch for a Get Out the Vote rally at 5 p.m.

Vance’s visit will come a week and two days after Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz stopped in Macon, speaking with prospective voters and making a visit to H&H Restaurant in downtown Macon.
