EAST DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A student at East Laurens High School made a verbal threat to harm others, according to a statement released on Facebook Friday by the Laurens County School District.
“With the help of law enforcement and the community, the student was identified and placed under proper supervision,” the post stated. “Students and faculty were not in danger of physical harm by the presence of weapons. The threat was taken seriously, and student safety was ensured. Laurens County Schools maintains safety as its top priority.”
