Four men have been sentenced for their involvement in a violent home invasion and armed robbery, with two of them receiving seven life sentences each.

GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Four men have been sentenced for their involvement in a violent home invasion and armed robbery, with two of them receiving seven life sentences each, according to the Office of Ocmulgee District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale III and the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.
On January 12, 2023, Jones County deputies say Shaun Mills, Terrell Mills and Corey Wallace forced their way into a home on the south side of Jones County. They were eventually charged with home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated assault. The victims included a mother and her three children. Nine days later, on January 21, 2023, the same men, along with Donnie White, committed armed robbery and aggravated assault at 49er Mart on Shurling Drive in Bibb County.
The Jones County Sheriff’s Office made several arrests following the 49er Mart robbery. Terrell Mills, a four-time convicted felon with a previous murder charge in Bibb County, was sentenced to seven life sentences in Jones County. His brother, Shaun Mills, also a four-time convicted felon, also received seven life sentences.
Corey Wallace received a sentence of 50 years, with 30 years to be served in prison. This was Wallace’s first felony offense. Donnie White, a first-time convicted felon, was sentenced to 50 years, with 15 years to be served in prison.
“Let this be a warning to all criminals that Jones County is not the place to commit crime,” the Ocmulgee District Attorney’s Office stated in a Facebook post. “We are closed for business. Don’t cross the county line!”
In a separate Facebook post, the Jones County Office said it hoped Jones and Bibb County residents can sleep “a little more peacefully” knowing the four men are no longer walking free.
“However, the Georgia Department of Corrections may now have their hands full. Unfazed by his life sentence, Terrell Mills continues to engage in criminal activity from our jail, even soliciting others via phone calls from the jail to commit acts of violence against his own brother, Shaun Mills,” the post stated.
