Rain chances climb Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A low pressure system over northern Florida will instigate shower chances in Middle Georgia for the middle of this week.
This Evening
Scattered clouds from the afternoon will clear a good bit heading into tonight, again allowing for a nice view of the nearly full moon. Winds will remain out of the northeast at around 5-10 mph. Lows will be a good bit below average as they dip into the mid to upper 60s. It will be slightly warmer in the southern counties as moisture starts to arrive courtesy of low pressure over the northern gulf/northern FL.
Tomorrow
Partly cloudy skies are likely for most of Middle Georgia tomorrow, however the overall trend will be cloudier towards the southern counties and sunnier further north. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s for most of the region, but a couple spots will likely still reach 90. Wind will flow from the east-northeast at about 5-12 mph. Shower odds will increase in the afternoon and evening, however thunderstorm activity will be limited. No severe weather is expected.
Overnight will be partly to mostly cloudy with lows creeping back into the upper 60s for most of the region. Southern counties will likely see lows in the lower 70s. Wind will remain out of the east around 5 mph. Showers will also remain possible through the overnight hours.
