Bibb County Sheriff’s Office: Husband identified as suspect in wife’s shooting death
Investigators say a man identified as a person of interest in connection with the death of Cotina Louise Fuller has died.

UPDATE (3:15 p.m.): Investigators say a man identified as a person of interest in connection with the death of Cotina Louise Fuller has died.
The Sheriff’s Office confirms the victim’s husband, 44-year-old Wayne Anthony Fuller Jr., was the person of interest.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, Fuller fled in a gold sports utility vehicle. The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office eventually spotted him and stopped him in McDonough.
Deputies say Fuller took his own life just before 1:45 p.m.
UPDATE (2 p.m.) The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Cotina Louise Fuller. According to Deputy Coroner Stone, the next of kin has been notified.
ORIGINAL STORY (12:22 P.M.):
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is dead after being shot at Fast Trip in the 2600 block of Riverside Drive on Friday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The fatal shooting was called in to the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 11:07 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they found an unresponsive woman with a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived to treat the victim, but she died from her injuries.
Deputy Coroner LuAnne Stone declared the victim deceased on scene. The name of the victim will be released once next of kin has been notified.
The shooting is currently under investigation.
