Monroe County deputies arrest two in Betsy Lynn Subdivision bust

Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jennifer Franklin and James Hickman on Wednesday following a search warrant execution on Oakridge Drive in the Betsy Lynn Subdivision.

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jennifer Lynn Franklin aka “Hollywood” and James Walter Hickman aka “Mason” on Wednesday after a search warrant execution on Oakridge Drive in the Betsy Lynn Subdivision, according to a post on the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

Franklin and Hickman face multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, tampering with evidence and possession of drug-related objects.

Deputies say their arrests are the result of a lengthy investigation. Both suspects are being held in the Monroe County Jail without bond.

Hickman was also arrested in June, accused of stealing metal piping from the county’s old water water treatment facility.
