More sun Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More sun will return to Middle Georgia Thursday on the northern side of a frontal boundary.
This Evening
Partly cloudy skies will give way to a few less clouds heading into tonight, however a handful will still be present through the night. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 60s and lower 70s with ambient wind coming in from the east around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
Scattered clouds lingering from the night will likely be present at sunrise Thursday, however they should clear out a good bit by lunchtime. Highs will reach the low to mid 90s with heat indexes reaching a few degrees above that. A stray shower or two will be possible, but most of the region will not see rain. Wind will come from the east-southeast around 5 mph.
Overnight expect mostly clear skies with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Wind will be out of the south-southeast around 5 mph.
The Tropics
Ernesto is now a Hurricane and is done with Puerto Rico. It will head north in the Atlantic, potentially making a devastating landfall in Bermuda. It will stay clear of the United States, however.
