Scorching weekend on deck for Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will climb into the upper 90s over the weekend with real feels over 100 degrees.
This Evening
Skies will remain mostly clear rolling into the overnight hours tonight. While a couple of stray storms are possible, most of the region will not see rain. Wind will be out of the south-southwest around 5 mph with lows dropping into the low to mid 70s.
Tomorrow
Partly sunny skies are anticipated for Saturday afternoon as temperatures peak in the mid to upper 90s. Real feels should push towards 105 for much of the region, so expect another round of Heat Advisories. A few stray storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening, but most will stay dry. Ambient wind will continue from the south-southwest around 5 mph.
Tomorrow night will feature scattered clouds with lows in the mid 70s. Wind will be gentle generally out of the west.
Sunday
Mostly sunny skies will grace Middle Georgia as temperatures soar into the upper 90s (potentially a couple of triple digits). Heat indexes will likely range from 105-110, so again a Heat Advisory should be expected. Rain odds will be low, however the southeastern counties will have slightly higher odds. Overnight will be mostly clear and calm with lows in the low to mid 70s.
The Tropics
A tropical wave in the Atlantic slowly moving towards the Caribbean continues to warrant monitoring. While formation is not expected within the next couple of days, the odds for a depression to form within the next 7 days are around 60%.
