Georgia Little League Falls To Tennessee In Southeast Regional Tournament

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Little League team faced off against Tennessee in the Southeast Regional Tournament Semi-Finals at Little League Southeast Ballpark in Warner Robins. The winner advanced to the Southeast Regional Championship game and a chance at the Little League World Series.

After going down 2-0, Georgia scored six straight runs to take a 6-2 lead. However, Tennessee scored nine unanswered runs after that and won the game by a final score of 11-6.

That’s Georgia’s second loss to end their tournament run. Tennessee will face Florida in the Championship game in Warner Robins Tuesday at 3 p.m.
