The Macon Mayhem have agreed to terms with new head coach Dave Pszenyczny

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Mayhem have agreed to terms with a new coach.
Dave Pszenyczny from Sterling Heights, Michigan will be joining the Mayhem as the new head coach.
Pszenyczny has more than 500 professional games of experience under his belt. The former professional hockey player made his SPHL debut with the Peoria Rivermen in 2015. In three seasons of play, Pszenyczny finally won the league’s Defenseman of the Year award in 2017, after being runner up the prior two years. After retiring from playing in 2018, he spent the last six seasons as head coach of the SPHL’s Quad City Storm.
Pszenyczny becomes the seventh head coach in Mayhem history. He will be formally introduced at a news conference at the Macon Centreplex on Thursday, August 1 at 6 p.m.
