What has been a below average but still hot and sticky afternoon with a good amount of sun will give way to scattered storms through this evening and into tonight. No severe weather is expected, but storms may bring a few relatively strong wind gusts or small hail. Rain will likely continue into the wee hours of the night. Overnight temperatures will bottom out in the lower 70s. Ambient wind will be light and variable, so some fog is also expected ahead of tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with numerous storms expected beginning during the lunchtime hours. Highs will reach the upper 80s and lower 90s with ambient wind coming from the south-southwest around 5 mph. Afternoon storms will bring heavy rain, frequent cloud to ground lightning, and possibly a few wind gusts/small hail.

Storms should taper off in the evening however a few may linger after midnight. Rain itself will continue into the overnight hours, however, largely in the form of showers. Low temperatures will be in the lower 70s with light wind coming from the south.
