Isolated storms possible this evening

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – While things have largely been calm rainwise this afternoon, isolated storms remain possible this evening and into tonight.
This Evening
Mostly cloudy skies will hang with Middle Georgia as isolated storms remain possible through the suppertime hours and into tonight. Most of the region will not see rain, however. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s as the wind remains gentle from the southwest. Patchy fog will also be possible heading into Tuesday morning.
Tomorrow and Beyond
Isolated to scattered storms are likely Tuesday afternoon as temperatures largely reach the lower 90s. Heat indexes will likely push towards the 100 degree mark thanks to a bit of sun early. Clouds will fill in more during lunchtime with storms taking over after that.
Overnight will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers and storms lingering early. One or two may last past midnight. Low temperatures will again be in the lower 70s with light and variable wind.
Storm odds will jump Wednesday and Thursday, keeping conditions a bit cooler again during the afternoon. While rain odds will drop some after that, solid chances will likely carry into the weekend.
