Police: Man turns himself in after ‘domestic violence incident’ leads to shooting in Byron
A man turned himself in after the Byron Police Department (BPD) says a domestic dispute on Monday resulted in a shooting.

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man turned himself in after the Byron Police Department (BPD) says a domestic dispute on Monday resulted in a shooting.
According to BPD, officers responded to MLK Court on Monday after a report of a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers found a female victim who had been shot in the hand.
“The investigation revealed that the victim was shot during a domestic violence incident,” a news release stated.
Police say 23-year-old Tellis Fudge Jr. turned himself in to the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office the following day.
He’s being held at the Peach County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
“The Peach County, Houston County, Dooly County Sheriff’s Offices and the U.S. Marshal’s Service assisted in the investigation,” the release stated.
