New preschool and hybrid elementary program to open in Macon

The new programs begin in August and enrollment is currently open.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Stone Edge Prep is rolling out a newK-3 and K-4 Preschool program, in addition to a new Hybrid Elementary program.

Carla Ellis, Executive Director at Stone Edge Prep, says they will be using the Abeka curriculum, which is widely known among homeschool and private schools.

Students will receive instruction and hands-on learning in Bible, phonics, math, science, social studies, music and movement, art, and handwriting, according to Preschool and Elementary Administrator Kimberly Droeder.

Keonte’ Herron, Elementary Coordinator, says students will be working on fine and gross motor skills using a variety of activities while also implementing some Montessori activities.

The new programs begin in August and enrollment is currently open.
