Bibb County Sheriff’s Office releases video of suspect wanted in connection with July murder

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to identify a suspect in connection with the death of 31-year-old Demarious Shamonte Brown.

UPDATE (10/24/24): The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to identify a suspect wanted in connection with the death of 31-year-old Demarious Shamonte Brown.

Brown died on July 13 in the 2200 block of Gray Highway.

The suspect is an older male with a beard, wearing a Dickies’ brand safety vest, a dark colored long sleeve T-shirt underneath, dark colored pants, a Seattle Mariners fitted hat, brown boots, gloves and a mask covering his face.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after being shot Saturday in east Macon.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says the call came in just before 10 a.m.

Deputies responded to a home in the 2200 block of Gray Highway and found 31-year-old Demarious Shamonte Brown of Macon with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
