Bibb deputies arrest convicted felon following search warrant

A convicted felon was arrested after the Bibb County Sheriff's Office and Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search and arrest warrant on Ridgewood Drive on Tuesday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A convicted felon was arrested after the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search and arrest warrant on Ridgewood Drive on Tuesday.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post says deputies, along with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents, arrested the man, later identified as Nicholas Johnson, after finding narcotics, firearms, multiple magazines and ammunition.

“The narcotics case remains under investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office,” the post stated.
