Less rain expected tomorrow, sun returns Sunday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A few showers will linger Saturday on the back side of the low, and Sunday will see sunny skies as following the system clearing out.
This Evening
Rain will continue around Middle Georgia through this evening and into tonight. Expect very little temperature change with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s around the region. Wind will remain breezy from the east at 10-15 mph, gusting between 20 and 25 mph. The rain should slow ahead of the sunrise tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow
A mostly cloudy and windy day is expected with that wind coming from the north at 10-20 mph, gusting upwards of 30 mph in the late afternoon. A few showers will be possible throughout the day, but it will not be a washout like Friday. Highs will reach the upper 60s and lower 70s around the region.
Expect the shower odds to slow in the evening with cloud cover working to clear out overnight. Low temperatures will fall into the lower 40s for most of Middle Georgia as the wind stays out of the north.
Sunday
It will be a sunny day Sunday with clouds largely holding off until the late evening. Even then, only a few should carry into Sunday night. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with wind from the northeast coming in at 10-15 mph, gusting upwards of 20 mph.
Overnight the moon will be near full as skies remain mostly clear. Lows will drop into the low to mid 40s ahead of Monday.
