Macon-Bibb County’s Code Enforcement buys 6 new ATVs

New ATVs will be used to increase law enforcement presence.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –Macon-Bibb County’s Code Enforcement bought 6 new ATVs that will be used to increase law enforcement presence.

The Polaris Rangers will be able to provide assistance on trails, large events or in Downtown.

The new vehicles were purchased with a $200,000 grant from the Peyton Anderson Foundation.

“We like to say go big or go home…and these Rangers certainly match that. This is a culmination of a lot of people working together,” says Mayor Lester Miller. “We want to make sure everyone has a great, safe place to come and enjoy.”
