While skies will remain mostly clear through the sunset hours, cloud cover will ramp up overnight, especially ahead of the sunrise tomorrow. Much of these will be high clouds, but some mid-levels will be mixed in as well. No rain is expected tonight as conditions become more mild and humid. Low temperatures will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s with wind coming from the south-southwest at about 10-15 mph. Gusts could push 20 mph.

A mostly cloudy day is expected for our Tuesday with sunshine likely limited to some breaks in the clouds. While most of Middle Georgia will stay dry, a couple of small showers are possible, especially in the northern counties. Highs will reach the upper 70s across most of the region with south-southwest winds coming in at about 10-20 mph. Gusts could push over 30 mph at times in the afternoon.

The winds will not back off much heading into the overnight hours (they may even get stronger) as cloud cover lingers. A couple of showers will be possible overnight, however most of the region will again stay dry. Expect low temperatures in the upper 50s ahead of Wednesday morning.

The next cold front will arrive Wednesday, bringing showers to much of Middle Georgia in the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the low 80s for much of the region Wednesday ahead of the cold front, accompanied by southwesterly winds of 10-25 mph gusting in the 30-40 mph range. One or two of the showers could be thunderstorms, however no severe weather is expected.

The winds will shift to the northwest on the backside of the cold front, however they will quickly shift towards the east by the time Thursday arrives. Thursday will be cool and drier, however overcast skies are likely to linger. Friday will see more showers with highs only reaching into the upper 50s and lower 60s in the afternoon.
