Sunny skies expected today

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all!! This morning we are starting off a bit warmer than we were at this time yesterday. Temperatures are in the low 30s this morning with a few spots in the upper 30s with clear skies. We are going to warm up into the mid to upper 60s today with plenty of sunshine to go around.  We will be a bit warmer overnight with temperatures in the upper 30s as we wake up. On Thursday we will see sunshine early in the low 70s. The clouds will then move in late in  the afternoon hours. Rain is possible late Thursday into Friday although not much rain is expected to fall. This weekend will be gorgeous in the 60s to low 70s with a abundance of sunshine for the last weekend of February. Next week is looking to be like spring. I would not rule out the chance next week for someone to reach the low 80s on Tuesday and maybe even on Wednesday.  Have a great day!!
