2 arrested, 1 wanted in Washington County theft ring; more arrests expected

TENNILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office makes two arrests and needs your helping find another suspect in what it calls an ongoing theft ring across surrounding counties.
According to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran, 54-year-old Tammie Ward is wanted for her involvement in the theft ring.
The two people arrested in this case are from the Atlanta area: 49-year-old Shannon Swaney of Stone Mountain and 50-year-old Moya Shields of Chamblee. Their charges include violating the Georgia Rico Act, operating or conducting a chop shop and gun and drug charges.
Sheriff Cochran says the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
