A few more clouds likely Thursday as temperatures continue to climb

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More cloud cover will roll into Middle Georgia tonight and early tomorrow.
The Rest of the Evening
Scattered cirrus and stratus clouds are likely to move in overnight tonight and hang around into tomorrow morning. It will still be a cool night as temperatures fall into the upper 30s for most of the region. Wind will mainly come from the south-southeast at around 5 mph overnight.
Tomorrow
Scattered stratus clouds will linger into the afternoon before fading out more. Highs will reach the upper 60s for most of the region with a couple of spots cracking the 70 degree mark. Wind will come from the southwest at about 5-10 mph.
Cloud cover will return tomorrow night, and it will be thicker as well. Low temperatures ahead of Friday morning will likely be in the low to mid 40s as the wind shifts more towards the west-northwest at around 5 mph.
Friday and The Weekend
Mostly cloudy conditions will stick with Middle Georgia starting early Friday and lasting until Sunday afternoon. While a few showers will be possible Friday evening and overnight, rain odds for Saturday have largely dropped. The system is expected to remain off to the south. Sunny skies will return Sunday evening with mild conditions likely to begin next week.
