Much drier conditions expected

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Good morning to you all on this drier Tuesday morning. This morning we are much cooler in the 40s across the area with a bit of cloud coverage. A bit breezy this morning as well with winds out of the West north west gusting to 25-30 mph. With that being said conditions feel a bit cooler this morning. This afternoon we will see the sunshine return to the area with temperatures in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. Overnight temperatures will steadily fall into the mid 30s due to less cloud coverage in the area. On Valentine’s Day we will see temperatures warm to the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine! Clouds will move in overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Thursday will be partly cloudy in the 60s. Rain will move in late Friday into Saturday lasting into Sunday. Not much rainfall is expected. Sunshine will return for the area next week.
