Another sunny day across the area

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Rain did fall overnight in areas mainly north of I-16. Not much rain was reported overnight with this system. This morning we are seeing temperatures in the mid and upper 40’s. Today is another sunny day in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. Temperatures really don’t change much as we head through the week. Warmer conditions are expected for groundhog day afternoon in the upper 60s with partly sunny conditions. This will continue for your Saturday with temperatures expected to be in the upper 60s. On Sunday a few showers are possible across the area with temperatures in the 60’s. Rain will last into Monday afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. Rain totals look to be just above a inch as of now. Temperatures will continue in the 50s next week. Above average temperatures are expected in the middle of February.
