Macon teen faces multiple charges following pursuit; second arrest this week
Bibb County deputies say a 17-year-old arrested earlier this week was arrested again on Tuesday.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County deputies say a 17-year-old arrested earlier this week was arrested again on Tuesday.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post says King Jackson was first taken into custody after being found in possession of a Glock 22 and illegal drugs following the execution of a search warrant at a Mosley Street home.
Deputies said they took Jackson into custody again after a pursuit of a stolen Ford Expedition.
Deputies say they initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and that the teen accelerated at a high rate of speed before stopping and jumping out. The vehicle, which was not put into park, hit a porch fence and a parked vehicle, according to deputies.
Jackson and two passengers ran. Jackson was taken into custody in an abandoned house and was also in possession of a Glock 45, deputies said.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
According to jail records, he faces multiple charges:
- Bond surrender-superior court
- Criminal damage to property – 2nd degree
- Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense
- Possession of pistol or revolver by person under 18 years of age – 2nd or subsequent offense
- Theft by receiving stolen property – felony
- Willful obstruction of law enforcement officers – misdemeanor
Records show his bond was set at $8,882.50.
