70’s expected today
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Good morning we are seeing a few showers on radar this morning especially in on southern and middle counties. We are also dealing with visibility issues this morning as fog is in the area. This fog will lift as we head into the the 8-9 am time frame. Today we will see a few spotty showers especially this morning and later this evening. Temperatures today will finally be back into the 70s with cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the 60s as we wake up on Thursday. That is almost as warm as we were yesterday afternoon. Folks the warmer weather does not stop there we will warm up into the mid 70s on Thursday with showers and thunderstorms possible at 50 percent . That will also be the case for Friday as well, however temperatures will be in the slow 70s. We will see showers and thunderstorms once again on Saturday with temperatures in the 70s. Rain chance decrease on Sunday to 20 percent mainly before 5am. The temperatures will decrease as well into the 60s still not so bad. Rainfall over the next 7 days is anywhere from 1 to 3 inches across the area with locally higher and lower amounts possible. Temperatures will cool to average as we head into next week. Warmer weather is expected to start the first full week of February.
