Isolated showers remain possible tonight and tomorrow

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Overcast skies and a slight chance of showers will stay with Middle Georgia for the next couple of days.
The Rest of the Evening
Skies will remain overcast around the region with mild temperatures sticking around. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s around the region with wind coming from the east-southeast at around 5-10 mph. As for shower chances tonight, they will remain isolated and small. About 20% of the region or so should see rain this evening and overnight. Patchy fog will also be possible through the overnight hours ahead of a warm front.
Tomorrow
Cloudy skies will stay with Middle Georgia again Wednesday. Temperatures will largely reach the lower 70s around the region with wind from the southeast coming in at about 5-12 mph. Gusts could range from 15-18 mph. Rain odds will be limited to a few isolated showers throughout the day.
Tomorrow night will be warm and humid with temperatures only dropping into the low to mid 60s. Some patchy fog is likely along with some isolated showers. Winds will come from the south-southeast at about 5-10 mph.
Thursday and Beyond
During the day Thursday things will largely just be cloudy, however late in the afternoon more scattered showers will be possible. Highs will again reach into the 70s during the afternoon ahead of the more widespread rain. Scattered showers are likely overnight Thursday and into Friday with some thunderstorm activity possible Saturday. Cloudy skies will hang around on the back side of the Low Sunday before sunny conditions return to start next week.
