Rain for some today
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Good morning we are seeing a few showers on radar this morning especially in on northern counties. Temperatures are much warmer in the upper 40s to low 50s. Rain showers will be off and on for the rest of this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s much warmer than we have been. Rain will continue into your Wednesday with a 50 percent chance of rain with temperatures in the 70s!! This is a much welcome sight to see after the cold temperatures we’ve had the past week. Overnight lows will be in the 60s as we wake up on Thursday. Folks the warmer weather does not stop there we will warm up into the mid 70s on Thursday with showers and thunderstorms possible. That will also be the case for Friday as well, however temperatures will be in the slow 70s. We will see showers and thunderstorms once again on Saturday with temperatures in the 70s. Rain chance decrease on Sunday to 20 percent mainly before 5am. The temperatures will decrease as well into the 60s still not so bad. Rainfall over the next 7 days is anywhere from 1 to 2 and a half inches across the area with locally higher and lower amounts possible. Temperatures will cool to average as we head into next week.
