Dry and warmer today

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! This morning we are starting of in the mid 20s to low 30s with clouds in the area. We will continue to see the clouds this afternoon with temperatures in the mid 50 and upper 50s. Temperatures will not be as cold overnight tonight in the mid 40s. Rain showers will be off and on Tuesday with temperatures in the 60s much warmer than we have been. Rain will continue into your Wednesday with a 50 percent chance of rain with temperatures in the 70s!! Yes finally spring like weather will return on Wednesday! Overnight lows will be in the 60s as we wake up on Thursday. Folks the warmer weather does not stop there we will warm up into the mid 70s on Thursday with showers and thunderstorms possible.  That will also be the case for Friday as well, however temperatures will be in the slow 70s. We will see showers and thunderstorms once again on Saturday with temperatures in the 70s. Rain chance decrease on Sunday to 30 percent. The temperatures will decrease as well into the 60s still not so bad. Rainfall over the next 7 days is anywhere from 1 to 2 and a half inches across the area with locally higher and lower amounts possible. Have a great week and enjoy the rain free conditions today!
