Deputies arrest suspect in connection with theft of Postal Service vehicle in Macon
Bibb County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 38-year-old Macon man, Brian Latrell Colbert, in connection with the theft of a postal service vehicle, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 38-year-old Macon man, Brian Latrell Colbert, in connection with the theft of a postal service vehicle, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say the vehicle, a 2022 Hino 258, was stolen early Friday morning at the United States Postal Service on Hardeman Avenue.
Just after 5:30 a.m., deputies responded to the scene and later successfully tracked and located the vehicle in the 5500 block of Thomaston Road. Deputies say they found Colbert nearby in possession of the key to the stolen vehicle.
Colbert is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of financial transaction card theft, possession of a Schedule I and II narcotic, driving while license suspended and probation violation.
He’s being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
