Rain moves in tonight

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  This morning we saw temperatures in the low to mid 30s. We are currently seeing sunshine across middle Georgia as expected how ever we will be partly cloudy this afternoon. Upper 50s will be todays high temperatures across the area. Rain will move in late tonight with a 90% chance of rain overnight in to Saturday. After the rain on Saturday morning, the afternoon looks partly cloudy and in the low 60s.  Sunday we will stay dry and mild in the upper 50s again although partly cloudy. Rain will once again begin to move in on Monday night. This will continue into Tuesday when a line of storms will move through. Most of our counties have been placed under a level 2/5 risk for strong to severe storms. The threat will occur from 11am to 2pm. Threats include damaging winds, heavy rain, and the brief chance of a isolated tornado. Anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain is expected across the area over the next 7 days.
