UPDATE: Man wanted in theft investigation now arrested, woman also arrested

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Four people are now in custody and another person is wanted after a theft investigation in Washington County.

Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran says the following people were taken into custody after an investigation that started on Wednesday, December 27 when a CF Moto ATV was reported stolen from a hunting camp on Indian Trail Road.

  • 28-year-old Tyler Gene Waters: He’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, theft by taking, burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug-related objects.
  • 28-year-old Savanna Renea McCoy: She’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, theft by taking, burglary, theft by taking, possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
  • 34-year-old Jonathan Daniel Johnson: He’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, theft by taking, burglary and possession of drug-related objects.
  • 32-year-old Whitney Anne Webb: She’s charged with theft by taking and possession of drug-related objects.

The stolen ATV was recovered, and investigators say a motorcycle was also recovered that had been reported stolen from a home on Linton Road.

Warrants were also issued for 26-year-old Triston Michael Waters, who’s pictured above, for theft by taking and burglary.
