Macon’s Rhythm & Rally Pickleball facility opening to public on January 1
Rhythm & Rally, Macon's new indoor Pickleball complex inside Macon Mall, will hold its grand opening on Monday, January 1, 2024.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Rhythm & Rally, Macon’s new indoor Pickleball complex inside Macon Mall, will hold its grand opening on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The facility, which features 32 climate-controlled courts, opened to members on December 18 but will open to the public on January 1.
“Whether you’re an experienced Pickleball player or new to the sport, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore the world of Pickleball,” a Macon-Bibb news release said. “For just $5, you will be able to enjoy 5 hours of non-stop Pickleball action.”
The January 1 event, starting with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m., will be live-streamed on Rhythm & Rally’s Facebook page and will offer several activities, including skills and drills, beginners’ demonstrations, vendors, food trucks and a mini-tournament until 1:30 p.m. Open play will be available that day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“This facility, alongside the amphitheater and future developments, signifies a new era of growth for our area,” Macon-Bibb Mayor Lester Miller said.
The county says the facility has already drawn significant interest. The Candy Cane Classic tournament earlier this month attracted nearly 650 players from 11 states.
“Our opening day has been one of the biggest questions we’ve received, and we’re very excited to welcome our community inside,” Rhythm & Rally general manager John Roberts said. “We’re ready to fill these courts and start adding programming for new players and children.”
For those interested in membership, registration will be available at the event and online at www.rhythmandrally.com.
