Save Money by Bundling Internet, Phone and TV

With fiber optics business booming, companies like AT&T and Verizon are going where only cable and satellite have gone before.

Consumer experts say the offers to bundle services are about to get better, which is why consumers need to learn how to get the best deal — beginning with the understanding that not all bundled services are priced equally.

“It isn’t the case that if you have a $99 bundle and you take out one part of it, your bill for the remaining services will be $66”, warns Reynolds.

Paul Reynolds also says even though providers advertise specific prices, you should try to negotiate an even better deal, but stay away from contracts.

“Try to avoid locking into a contract yourself, and try to avoid a contractual commitment that may limit your ability to negotiate in the future”, advises Reynolds.

Which means you have to keep meticulous records of the arrangement.

“Make sure you write down what the rate is”, says Reynolds. “Write down the time you got it, write down the representative you were talking to.

That way, you’re ready to dispute an incorrect bill.
