Bibb Sheriff’s Office investigating north Macon robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a man who took money from a north Macon business Tuesday night.

It happened just after 6 o’clock at Small Cakes on Bowman Road, according to a news release. A man, who had entered the store with a woman earlier in the evening and purchased cupcakes before sitting in a car in the parking lot, walked back into the store with a cupcake box.

After ordering more cupcakes, he demanded money from the register. He received cash and left the scene, getting into an older model, two-door, dark-colored vehicle.

The suspect was a white male wearing a black Adidas hat. He was also wearing a black and white shirt.

Witnesses did not report seeing a weapon, and no one was injured.
