UPDATE: Investigators identify pedestrian hit on Hawkinsville Road

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man seriously injured in a collision on Hawkinsville Road on July 18th. Family has identified the pedestrian as 63-year-old Arthur Walden of Macon. The collision is under investigation.

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office needs your help identifying the man hit by a truck early Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the victim is a black man in his late 40’s to mid 50’s. He’s around 5’8 or 5’9 with a slender build. They say he’s also bald and has gray stubble.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning just before 4 a.m.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was hit near the intersection of Hawkinsville Road and Allen Road.

Deputies say the victim was taken to a medical facility where he is listed to be in critical condition. Nobody else was injured in the incident.
