Five fires in one hour

Firefighters in Steubenville, Ohio were stretched thin Wednesday morning, battling five house fires that erupted within one hour. WTOV’s Sean Eiler reports.

It was a chaotic morning for firefighters in Steubenville, Ohio Wednesday after several fires erupted, some within minutes of each other.

The first call came in just before midnight at a vacant home. Officials say the home was a total loss.

Within minutes, crews were called to the scene of another vacant house fire. That blaze spread to the home next door. Fortunately, those living inside were able to make it out safely.

Two more fires were reported within the same hour.
