41NBC hosts Pakistani journalist
His name is Kashmir Khan.
It changed his perspective.
“It’s a very courteous environment, the people are very kind,” said Kahn.
Kahn has walked through the door at 41NBC for nearly a week.
“Whenever i ask something, they respond very positively,” said Khan.
And what he thought he would experience is different than he expected.
“I personally found the us a totally different place than what i had in my perception before my arrival here in the us,” said Kahn.
Kahn is a part of the US-Pakistan Journalist Exchange Program.
41NBC is happy to host Kahn for a three-week learning experience.
“I’m learning new things about the digital equipment–the new technology,” said Kahn.
Like the equipment we use to go live.
“I learned about the Dejero Live for the first time–that you can go live from anywhere with this little device,” said Kahn.
Not only is he learning about news, but practicing his beliefs freely has been a great experience as well.
“I am facing no problems,” said Kahn. “Since I’ve been here, I’ve been practicing–I’ve been offering my prayers even when I’m in the office.”
41NBC went to the Mosque with Kahn, where he offered his Friday prayers.
“I offer my prayer in a Masjid along with other Muslims of Macon city, and I enjoyed it quite a lot,” said Kahn.
Kahn will be with us for another two weeks.
We’re hoping to learn more about the Pakistani culture and people as well.
